Roof Leak Ceiling Falls In

Sometimes a roof leak can be small and cause damage over time. Others can cause such a downpour that the ceiling falls in. In this picture you can see where water caused the ceiling to cave and wet insulation to fall through. You can even see water staining where it was left unattended to long by the homeowner. In the second image, SERVPRO only had to cut out a small area of the ceiling. No growth had been discovered, even with it sitting for some time. Since the damage came through the attic, SERVPRO of Tuscaloosa North crews contained the area to prevent heating and cooling escaping into the attic.
